In 2022, we secured our first round of 1.5 M€ funding led by Elaia, with participation from Bessemer and notable angel investors, including the CTO of Hugging Face.

In 2023, we received a strategic investment of 3 M€ from the European Commission to develop a SaaS platform for automating compliance with the EU AI Act.

In 2024, we gained an additional 3 M€ from the France 2030 strategic AI plan to fund R&D on Generative AI (LLM) evaluation, in collaboration with leading experts: Mistral AI, Artefact, INA, and BnF.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist for Customer Projects, you will:

• Lead customer engagements on AI application red-teaming for enterprise clients, identifying new AI vulnerabilities, adding new evaluation methods & tests, writing audit reports, and crafting dashboards.
• Provide technical guidance on AI application blue-teaming, mitigating vulnerabilities, and best practices in LLM application architecture, prompting, and optimization.
• Regularly liaise with the R&D team to relay feedback, suggest improvements, and test new features.
• Collaborate with the sales & marketing team to support the sales pipeline by providing technical expertise and creating demos & technical content.

Requirements

We are looking for an entrepreneurial doer with consulting experience in Data Science / ML Engineering, particularly on LLM projects and MLOps.

About You

• 4+ years of experience in consulting roles on Data Science / AI / ML Engineering projects for enterprise customers, preferably in international consulting firms or AI software companies.
• Experience in LLM application development using tools such as Hugging Face, OpenAI, Mistral, LlamaIndex, Langchain, Deepset, Ollama, etc., or substantial experience in MLOps.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage high-level client expectations (CDOs, CTOs, CISOs).
• Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and convincingly, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong project management & self-organization skills.
• Experience managing junior data scientists and ML engineers.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Fluency in both English and French (oral & written).
• Bonus: Skills in web development (React, FastAPI) and DevOps (Docker, AWS).
• Bonus: Experience in early-stage startups.
