Job Description

We seek an experienced Senior Machine Learning Scientist with a robust background in MLOps, high-performance computing, data management, and visualization. The candidate should display proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and Julia, and possess experience with scientific modeling sectors inclusive of climate modeling and material science simulation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy sophisticated software toolsets focusing on large language models for business and operational applications.
• Lead the seamless integration and management of our MLOps infrastructure, enhancing scalability and deployment across platforms like AWS.
• Conduct A/B testing, data collection, and governance to perform insightful statistical analyses.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency.
• Create sustainable, quality code and set standards for best practices in software engineering and data science.
• Communicate insights and methodologies clearly to senior leadership.
• Uphold a culture that fosters collaboration, creativity, and rigorous scientific inquiry.

Qualifications:

• A PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related field with a specialization in Machine Learning or Data Science.
• A minimum of five years of substantial experience in machine learning, particularly in MLOps and high-performance computing.
• Hands-on expertise in scientific programming using Python.
• A solid foundation in statistical modeling, neural networks, and other advanced machine learning techniques.
• An ability to solve complex problems efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience:

Contributions to published research or ongoing projects in machine learning or related fields are highly regarded.
