At Hematology R&D, we are committed to advancing science to deliver life-changing medicines to patients in need. Our pipeline focuses on six scientific platforms—Immuno-Oncology, Tumor Drivers and Resistance, DNA Damage Response, Antibody-drug Conjugates, Cell Therapy, and Epigenetics—to address unmet clinical needs in hematological cancers. We strive for scientific discovery and collaboration to help eliminate cancer as a cause of death. This unit manages the value chain from discovery to late-stage development, enabling rapid acceleration and lifecycle management programs.
Data Analysis and Modeling: Develop and refine data models to analyze multimodal data effectively. Establish predictive and/or prognostic models with multimodal risk stratification. Critically assess and perform due diligence on third-party data.
Strategic Decision Support: Contribute key insights from data-driven analysis to inform crucial go/no-go decisions and empower strategic planning. Translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations to steer the company's direction.
Data Asset Development: Generate and curate essential data assets, enhancing analytical capabilities and supporting the research infrastructure.
Collaborative Research: Collaborate with clinical researchers in designing and executing studies, providing expert analytical support for genomic, epigenomic, and RNA-sequencing data interpretation.
Effective Communication: Present findings to scientific, regulatory, and clinical stakeholders by translating complex concepts into detailed reports and presentations for diverse audiences. Contribute to oncology through presentations at conferences and publications in high-impact journals.
Demonstrated experience working with large multimodal datasets, including NGS data, and deriving/assessing clinical utility.
Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python, and development of interactive documents like Shiny apps. Familiarity with Unix and working with cloud infrastructure.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and statistical modeling.
Understanding of statistical methods such as time-to-event data analysis, particularly in oncology clinical research.
Experience in epigenomics, liquid biopsy, and MRD and related diagnostic assays.
Training in biostatistics.
Track record of interfacing with clinical stakeholders.
Ph.D. in a relevant field or Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Proven track record of handling, analyzing, and extracting valuable insights from large and complex datasets.
Excellent communication and data presentation skills.
Expertise in R and/or Python programming and visualization.
Familiarity with the UNIX environment and high-performance computing environments.
Skilled in conveying complex data to non-experts and working in cross-disciplinary science teams.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
Enthusiasm in applying analytical methods to complex biological problems.
Experience contributing to research through publication, conferences, and code sharing.
