Join SADA as a Senior Staff Data Engineer, Corporate!

Your Mission

As a Senior Staff Data Engineer, Corporate at SADA, you will have the chance to drive corporate services by working with vast quantities of data and newly-emerging Google Cloud technologies. You'll have the chance to design, develop, and manage the best Enterprise Data Warehouse solution for our corporate needs. Working with ETL, metadata, business continuity, transforming business requirements, data modelling, and architecting solutions, our team will give you the chance to collaborate and work with engineers and architects in developing and debugging data infrastructures on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This will give you the chance to tackle the real-world data problems our clients face today. Your role may involve a wide range of consultative and hands-on approaches, from data migration, disaster recovery and data archival, to big data analytics solutions requiring batch or real-time data pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses.

You will be expected to lead whole projects and guide less experienced data engineers. You will become an expert resource within the team, gaining a reputation with Google and our customers. You will be recognized for consistently delivering project architectures and vital components other engineers defer to you for. Your role will also involve participating in early-stage opportunity qualification calls and guiding technical discussions with clients for established projects.

Pathway to Success

#BeOneStepAhead: SADA is a company that thrives on change. We focus on cutting-edge technology that's always changing, embracing agility, encouraging change and being one step ahead. Our engineers understand that change is inevitable and embrace it to expand their skills, preparing to meet future client needs.

Your success depends on impacting the direction of a rapidly expanding practice positively, with vision and passion. Key indicators of your performance will include the breadth, depth, and quality of your contributions. Your ability to accurately estimate, customer feedback at project completion, how well you collaborate with your peers, and the polish you add to our interactions with clients.

We will develop a tailored development plan as you execute successfully, guiding you through the engineering or management growth tracks.

Expectations

You will be expected to interact with internal clients and stakeholders on a regular basis. Your task is to gather requirements and provide solutions suitable for corporate divisions.

Onboarding/Training - Your first weeks with us will be dedicated to learning, including learning materials/tasks, compliance training, and familiarization meetings with key team members. A specific timeline will be shared closer to your start date.
