Purpose of the Role
As the Sr. Manager of Data Analytics, you will lead and manage a skilled team of analysts and Business Intelligence (BI) experts. You will be tasked with developing data-driven strategies and reports to improve decision-making and business strategy, specifically aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and business performance in a thriving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting and Visualization:
- Design and implement sophisticated reporting frameworks and KPIs to monitor and track key business metrics.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports, offering actionable insights across the organization.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful insights for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and define Orange Egypt’s insights and reporting strategies using advanced data visualization tools and data marts.
- Partner with RA, RB, and fraud analytics teams to refine analytics operations.
CVM Analytics and Product Ownership:
- Manage the integration of CVM systems with promotional engines to launch targeted offers effectively.
- Lead campaign analysis and oversee collaborations with commercial teams to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Guide the development of an in-house CVM system to bolster targeted marketing, customer segmentation, and campaign management.
- Coordinate with IT to steer system architecture design and feature implementations, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Implement new campaign segmentation strategies in tandem with data science teams for enhanced machine learning targeting.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and mutual respect.
- Set clear objectives, provide constructive feedback, and assess team performance to ensure alignment with business goals.

Job Specifications
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics and visualization tools.
- Strong background in customer analytics, including segmentation, churn prediction, and customer lifetime value models.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical divides.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating and guiding diverse teams.
- Experience in telecommunications or similar industries is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Advanced skills in SQL and comprehensive knowledge of BI, Data Warehouse, and Data Lakehouse solutions.
- Solid understanding of Big Data, Python, Spark, with preferred experience in telecom sectors.
- Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
