Role Overview: Strategy & Analytics Sr. Manager, Global Success and Business Intelligence (GSBI)
The Strategy & Analytics Sr. Manager, GSBI will play a key role in supporting the explosive growth of Salesforce. This hybrid position combines strategic planning, sales strategy, business operations, reporting, and analysis. Your work will support the Renewals and Success Plan Sales group, renowned for their expertise in fostering customer value and retention. This role will leverage customer engagement strategies to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Analysts and Sr. Analysts by providing clear direction, setting measurable goals, and offering continuous mentorship.
- Deliver recommendations and insights that support senior stakeholders (VPs and SVPs) in managing their KPIs.
- Proactively identify business trends, risks, and opportunities to influence and set market/account strategy.
- Understand the underlying data architecture supporting Customer Success for business performance reporting.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and establish streamlined processes using Salesforce solutions and external tools.
- Identify and optimize the significant drivers of financial performance, productivity, and customer engagement.
- Develop Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards for global leaders and field teams in the Customer Success Group.
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives.
Desired Skills/Experience
- 10+ years of business analytics and/or business operations experience.
- 5+ years of people management experience with a focus on analytical thinking and sales strategies.
- Self-starter with a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field from an accredited university; MBA or Masters in a technical field is a plus.
- Experience with quantitative analysis, Excel, and logical reasoning.
- Proficiency with SQL and Tableau (or similar data visualization tools); Python and/or R is a plus.
- Experience creating/leading the development of BI dashboards from scoping to deployment.
- Familiarity with CRM and data management/strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to structure and conduct robust analyses to generate actionable insights.
- Detail and quality-oriented with a thirst for learning new concepts, business models, and technologies.
