In order to realise Qonto’s vision and our ambitious objectives, we've formed the Data team, responsible for overseeing Data Analytics, Engineering, and Science. Our data department has expanded from 5 to 60 people in only two years and we continue to grow!

At Qonto, Data Analytics is fundamental and central to our business. You will join a team of talented data analysts who provide key insights used for making strategic company-wide decisions.

The BI Team comprises four teams that work in distinct areas, regularly collaborating on cross-functional topics.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a Staff Data Analyst at Qonto, you will:

You will work directly with business & product teams. Your important role involves directing feature development and establishing best practices across the Data team.

Perform deep strategic and ad-hoc analyses across multiple domains to answer essential questions like: What's the best pricing strategy? How can we improve the use of a certain feature?
Provide recommendations to teams across the business on how we can evolve our internal approach and address deficiencies observed through deep analysis.
Lead opportunity sizing and analysis. What's the best default billing option to boost conversion? Should we contact clients who lack sufficient funds to cover their monthly fees? Write clear, actionable analyses that help teams identify improvement and investment areas.
Improve our decision speed and quality using statistical analysis: experimentation, causal inference techniques, etc. Design measurement plans, give advice on best practices, identify flaws in experiment practices and results; build tools for causal analysis; contribute to the design of new frameworks, counterfactual logging, etc.
Create, track, and break down success metrics into actionable segments. Identify the right success metrics for our teams and help them track those metrics. Your role may involve creating new datasets or building dashboards that monitor components of a metric.
Lead and mentor the work scope for data analysts in the same area, demonstrating high-quality output from both yourself and others. Provide continuous and honest feedback, recognizing individual strengths and contributions and marking training opportunities to enhance performance.
Establish best practices and advocate for the team’s work to meet internal standards for code style, quality, maintainability, and best practices

• The onboarding team needs to understand the recent drop in activation they have witnessed for the past three weeks. They need your support: how to differentiate the signal from the noise? Because variations always occur…
• The Product Manager of Cards wants to comprehend the success of the newly launched “top-up” feature. You'll spearhead a cross-team effort to setup and monitor the success of this feature.
• We recently introduced a new pricing structure. The Finance team wants you to determine which default billing option (annual or monthly) would generate higher revenue and increase engagement.
• The strategy team needs to understand what increases customer retention.
