About You

You are a seasoned data analyst known for extracting actionable insights from structured data. Your expertise includes crafting dashboards, summarizing outcomes for executive review, and interpreting intricate data for non-technical audiences. You excel in collaborative environments, refining vague problems into specific, answerable queries, and ensuring stakeholders comprehend the implications fully.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage dashboards via business intelligence tools for both external and internal stakeholders using large relational databases.
• Conduct preliminary analyses for complex cases to define necessary processes and data structures, supporting both immediate needs and long-term growth.
• Collaborate intensively with product management and architecture teams to guide product and technical decisions, focusing on effective data collection strategies.
• Optimize and support semantic data layers for self-service reporting, and conduct ad-hoc analysis for multiple teams.
• Utilize LookML for describing data dimensions, aggregates, and relationships in SQL databases.
• Guide schema design and enhance ETL processes, improving user experience through comprehensive documentation, webinars, and direct training.
• Handle administration of business intelligence platforms and troubleshoot data integrity issues.

Experience and Skills

• Over 7 years of experience in data analysis or analytics.
• Proficient in querying large datasets and relational databases using SQL.
• A solid grasp of conditional logic and programming language syntax.
• Experienced with web-based business intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, Chartio, or similar.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to demystify complex data concepts.
• Scripting skills in Python or R are advantageous.

Compensation at Airship

Airship offers a competitive salary ranging from $132,000 to $149,000 annually, subject to market data, experience, and location. Roles may also qualify for bonuses, commissions, equity packages, and other performance incentives. We also provide comprehensive benefits as part of our Total Rewards program.
