Position Overview

Amazon Robotics is seeking a self-motivated Technical Support Engineer to join the Advanced Robotics team. The ideal candidate will support system efficiencies using advanced technologies. This role combines technical prowess with customer-facing abilities, offering a dynamic challenge that requires flexibility, creativity, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software, hardware, and system performance engineers to address critical software issues.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot operational challenges with the Fulfillment Center Operations team.
• Develop training documents and mentor team members.
• Lead automation tool development to enhance system availability and performance.
• Manage incident and problem resolution, leading Root Cause Analyses on complex system issues.

Job Details

This position operates on a fixed schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, from 2 PM to 12 AM EST. We are open to candidates in various locations, including remote work options within the USA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software development or technical support.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• Proficiency in Unix. Experience with AWS, networking, and operating systems is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
