Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled VP-Level Data Scientist to join our dynamic and growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing audience solutions, crafting new ROI-based optimizations, and guiding optimal message and channel decisions for our clients, closely collaborating with creative, media, and data teams across an integrated team within Publicis Groupe. By using privacy-compliant technologies and implementing data science techniques, you will construct and offer real-world insights to ensure personalized communications strategies that resonate with unique audiences, inspire health engagement that results in behavioral change and outcomes. The preferred candidate will have a robust background in clinical and consumer models and excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients and internal agency stakeholders to comprehend their business objectives, target audiences, and communication strategies.
  • Use real-world data sources and privacy-compliant technologies to analyze and extract insights that guide audience segmentation, targeting, and messaging strategies.
  • Work closely with creative, media, and data teams to ensure seamless incorporation of data-driven insights into their respective processes.
  • Develop and apply data science techniques to discover patterns, trends, and behavioral insights from complex data sets.
  • Use statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify actionable opportunities for optimizing communication strategies.
  • Create and present compelling presentations, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate data-driven insights and suggestions to clients and internal teams.
  • Adapt to the agile process for delivery, participating in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and iterative development cycles to ensure project execution speed and agility.
  • Keep up with industry trends and advances in real-world data, data science techniques, privacy regulations, and AWS technologies to ensure best practices and compliance.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment by actively engaging with cross-functional teams, fostering knowledge sharing, and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, encouraging their growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, delivering real-world data insights and/or audience solutions to clients.
  • Detailed expertise in marketing or advertising, including knowledge of data sources, data collection methodologies.
  • Competency in data science techniques such as statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics, and data visualization.
  • Experience with AWS platforms and services for data processing, storage, and analysis.
  • Solid SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience working with Spark or other Big Data technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, along with experience working with data analysis tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and apply data-driven approaches to solve business challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $180,000 - $230,000 annually. This is the pay range that the company expects to offer for this position at the time of this posting. In accordance with relevant law, compensation will be determined based on the applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience along with the position's requirements, and the company holds the right to adjust this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will provide medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
