Since our establishment in 2009, the commercial landscape has significantly transformed, as has Square. We empowered anyone to process payments and never miss a sale, however, we observed vendors struggling with scattered and antiquated products and tools that couldn't function in harmony.
Hence, we delved into software and began crafting integrated, omnichannel solutions to aid sellers in selling online, managing inventory, offering 'buy now, pay later' options through Afterpay, booking appointments, engaging loyal customers, and hiring and paying staff. We have incorporated financial services tools at point of sale, thus allowing merchants to obtain a business loan and manage their cash flow in one stop. Afterpay extends our aim to provide omnichannel tools that generate substantial value and growth, enabling sellers to captivate the next-gen shopper, increase order sizes, and compete on a larger scale.
Today, we serve sellers of all scales - large, enterprise-scale businesses with intricate operations, budding sellers, and merchants who started their journey with Square and have expanded over time. As our sellers grow, our solutions evolve too. There is a significant opportunity ahead of us. We are constructing a substantial, meaningful, and enduring enterprise, and we're assisting sellers globally in doing the same.
