As a member of our Data Analytics Team, your role will involve expanding our data platform to tackle current and future challenges. You will collaborate with multiple data sources, aiding in the conversion of this data into valuable business knowledge.
Requirements
Your main responsibilities include:
- Understanding business objectives and goals by collaborating with other departments, interpreting data, employing statistical methods to enhance product features and discover new revenue opportunities.
- Designing and carrying out product A/B testing, drawing inferences from user behavior, and providing advice on analytical viewpoints.
- Working closely with data engineers to create and implement tools and techniques that permit large-scale analysis.
- Utilizing predictive algorithms and ML to draw business insights from extensive company datasets.
- Coaching and training business stakeholders to realize a high level of autonomy in data analysis.
- Evaluating current data quality and recommending improvements or updates to keep it current with the Company reality.
What you bring to the table:
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- You have 2-4 years of experience with data analysis and data storage techniques.
- You have proficiency in SQL, with experience in large scale data warehousing (Redshift, Google Big Query, or similar).
- You have a strong understanding of statistics and excellent skills in collecting, organizing, and disseminating large volumes of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- You understand A/B testing methodology.
- You are acquainted with at least one cloud-based business intelligence solution (Mode, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- You have experience in at least one Data Mining equipped language: R or Python (Excel alone is not sufficient).
- You are familiar with Version Control systems (we use Git).
- You understand various traditional Machine Learning and predictive algorithms, as well as basic NN concepts.
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with AWS tools focused on data processing and analysis.
- Knowledge of the primary software engineering best practices, tools, and techniques.
- Experience with DBT.
