Relevant experience must involve designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming (proficiency in at least one high-level language, for example, Python), statistical analysis (for instance, variability, sampling error, inference, hypothesis testing, EDA, application of linear models), data management (such as data cleaning and transformation), data mining, data modeling and assessment, artificial intelligence, and/or software engineering. Experience in more than one field is strongly preferred. Capabilities Foundational skills in Mathematics, Computation, and Statistics Data Processing (data management and curation, data description and visualization, workflow and reproducibility) Modeling, Inference, and Prediction (data modeling and assessment, domain-specific considerations) Design strategies to extract meaning and value from large datasets Through analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and/or other appropriate scientific methods, develop and implement qualitative and quantitative techniques for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets that considers the unique features and limitations inherent to Agency data holdings Translate practical mission requirements and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirements and help others draw appropriate conclusions from the analysis of such data Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences Make informed recommendations on competing technical solutions by staying updated with the dynamically changing Agency collection, processing, storage, and analytic capabilities and limitations. Required Qualifications TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience An Associate’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with substantial related experience Must have a degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science A degree in associated field may be considered if it includes substantial coursework (typically 5 or more courses) in advanced mathematics (as in linear algebra, probability and statistics, machine learning) and/or computer science (such as algorithms, programming, data structures, data mining, artificial intelligence) Basic college-level Algebra or other elementary level math courses are not considered A wider range of degrees may be acceptable if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited institution. Required Technical Skills Experience in a data science-focused team Experience with JCWA (Joint Cyber Warfare Architecture) Familiarity with Big Data Platform (BDP) Proficiency in AI/ML Experience with cybercom discovery house supporting Violent Extremist Organizations (VEOs) Focused on 2+3 targets The client requires an analyst capable to conduct network diagramming Wyetech, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
