The person occupying this Product marketing role will steer the marketing initiatives for all the data science and developer tools at Databricks, including Databricks Notebooks, Assistant, and Workspace. You will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and formulate the marketing strategy for how Databricks can distinctively empower practitioners in building their Data & AI solutions faster. You will work in conjunction with the product marketing team, the sales team, and the marketing organization to create and implement plans for driving the adoption of Databricks' data science and developer tools.
You will make an impact by:
1. Managing the value proposition, messaging, collateral, and go-to-market strategies for data science and developer tools across channels, including web, field, partners, and events.
2. Formulating a consistent go-to-market plan and initiating new programs aimed at winning mindshare to increase awareness and product adoption among DS & developers.
3. Developing a strong partnership with our engineering team to regularly feature product news and deliver high-impact announcements.
4. Expanding global reach by associating with field marketing teams, developer relations, industry events, and partner organizations to scale the business worldwide.
5. Gaining trust from data science audience by publishing 10 new recognisable references in this space within the first year.
We are looking for the following:
1. 5+ years of proven experience in developer marketing, product marketing, developer relations, or product management for a software enterprise.
2. Deep understanding of the practitioner audience and proven experience in generating relevant content for them.
3. A portfolio of effective marketing content, sales enablement materials, and go-to-market strategies with demonstrated success across the marketing funnel.
4. Familiarity with cloud technology, data analytics, machine learning, or AI.
5. Experience in presenting at conferences/seminars and customer interactions.
6. Preferred BS in Computer Science, Engineering, coupled with an MBA.
