Social Finance Inc. seeks Software Engineer, Big Data Infrastructure in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Directly contribute to high-performance batch and stream data processing systems. Manage and evolve cloud-based data warehousing services. Work with amazing product and business managers to deliver compelling features. Partner with team members to implement and design interfaces and abstractions to the SoFi Data Platform. Create and support systems and processes used for machine learning and data science. Sharpen your skills as a developer and build technical domain knowledge on data infrastructure modernization. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements (at least two years of experience with each of the following): (1) Python; (2) Java; (3) Agile Methodologies; (4) Unit Testing; (5) Object Oriented Programming (OOP); (6) C++; (7) MySQL; (8) JSP; and (9) AWS. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $156,000.00 - $179,400.00 per annum
