As a Software Engineer, you will be given complete control over your projects from start to finish and will be an active contributor throughout the product life cycle. Our engineers are not just technical partners, but also business partners who are involved in all business areas, working with teams such as product, marketing, and sales.
Role and Responsibilities
Our Software Engineers work in small, collaborative teams to help propel our company forward. Whether you are investigating advanced technologies like LLM and vector index, enhancing the fault tolerance of a SingleStore cluster, speeding up SQL queries using techniques like SIMD and LLVM codeGen, or writing search and costing modules for the query optimizer, our University Graduates are in charge of both new and existing projects that are deployed into production with each release. Your work will range from writing to testing software, offering you an in-depth understanding of both the product and the business.
Required Skills and Experience
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- Deep understanding of C.S. fundamentals, particularly operating systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures
- Strong programming skills in C++ or C
- Passionate about developing highly reliable software
- Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures.

SingleStore's base salary range for this position is: $140,000 - $150,000.
