Position: Senior Data Scientist We are seeking a hands-on, result-oriented, intellectually curious, self-learning Senior Data Scientist to join our Product Analytics Team. Our mandate is to discover actionable insights regarding our customers and to translate this understanding into data products that would enhance our products, customer experience and performance of the business. Role: The role entails working with data from tens of millions of users and billions of data points. Specifically, you will be involved in advancing our analytical framework through predictive analytics, experimentation framework and automation. A few of the projects would involve LTV (lifetime value) prediction, early signal analysis for performance and retention, and improving the statistical analysis of AB testing. The position is located in Czechia. Responsibilities: Keeping abreast with the most recent developments in statistical and machine learning techniques and applying them to our business challenges, developing and maintaining predictive models, classifiers and other data products to drive user engagement and retention, support and development of our model for predicting LTV, identifying and analyzing customer behaviors to aid tactical and strategic decision-making and integration into our processes, operations and products, managing whole lifecycle of the models from start to finish, further bolstering our experimentation framework providing conclusive AB test results, and working alongside the Engineering and Product teams to ensure appropriate metrics and dimensions incorporated into our data sets and integration of our data products into our infrastructure. Requirements: A minimum of five years experience in a data science role, excellent communication skills with a solid ability to transform key insights into actionable steps, an ability to build, test, deploy, and improvise statistical models and report on model performance, hands-on experience with Pandas, experience of using Databricks, proficiency in handling large multi-dimensional data sets using open-source, parallel-processing frameworks like Apache Spark, proficient with Python, SQL and Jupyter analytical notebooks, concrete understanding of statistics, especially for evaluation of AB tests, understanding of machine learning and its application in enhancing user engagement and user retention, experience of data science on a cloud (Azure or Google Cloud or AWS), experience with Google Cloud technology stack would be advantageous.
