The Business Analyst role will assist our Strategy, Process & Planning team and will be based out of our Berlin office.
In this role, you'll concentrate on pushing our thought process beyond the “here and now”: focus on Business Intelligence, reporting and data analysis; contribute to the deployment of strategy & frameworks that enable it (like KPIs tracking); lay out structure and strategic frameworks for senior management to pursue outputs from strategic KPIs and the implementation of the companies OKR framework; analyze business processes and propose recommendations to various departments throughout the organization to enhance these processes; help boost our Salesforce Setup.
Your role in our hive
- Data-driven & analytics mindset : Utilize various data sources along with business perceptions to develop and assess strategic plans for Scoutbee, offering clear, practical assessments on optimizing outcomes.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving: Leverage your analytical skills to influence strategy implementation, dissecting existing business processes using data, identifying potential inefficiencies and proposing effective solutions to enhance overall processes across the organization.
- Interpersonal skills: Collaborate closely with the C-level team and ensure that data & insights supporting our strategic goals are communicated precisely, plainly, and efficiently across the organization and among senior stakeholders and to our investors.
- Drive strategic projects: Handle BI projects throughout the complete lifecycle, planning and delegating tasks while strategizing solutions and ensuring the project's successful completion and execution.
- Major Plus - Salesforce Proficiency: Aid and direct operational shifts in the organization by building and configuring Scoutbee’s Salesforce setup; assist Salesforce users in their daily operations by solving emerging issues with Salesforce software.
What you bring to our hive
- 2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst in analytics/insights/strategy
- University degree in engineering, data & insights, business strategy or equivalent
- Strong Data analysis and Data Visualization skills with proven track record
- Practical experience with BI & analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Superset, or PowerBI)
- You derive pleasure from analyzing usage statistics, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to refine our requirements and formulate improvements.
- Exhibiting proficiency in structured problem solving, business case modeling and engaging storytelling.
- You are a team player with a hands-on mentality and an individual who knows how to organize your tasks.
- Proven stakeholder management experience. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and C-suite
- Nice to have- Understanding of programming languages (e.g Java, Python)
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus, though not obligatory.
