Functional Area Description The Clinical Data Management department is responsible for the integrity, reliability, completeness and quality of clinical trial data and provides end-to-end clinical data management leadership for trials across the BMS R&D portfolio. Position Summary / Objective The Manager, Clinical Data Management is a project leadership role, essential to the sustainability and success of the BMS R&D pipeline. This role will report to a line manager within CDM. It is a full-time, office-based position with the flexibility to work remotely up to 50% of the time over 2 weeks. Position Responsibilities Project Management and Leadership Providing clinical data management leadership within the study team to align with and drive data collection requirements for one or more complex clinical development projects. Ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of complete, high-quality and reliable clinical trial data in a timely manner for assigned projects. FSP/CRO/Vendor Oversight This role may involve acting as a core member of the study team and providing FSP/CRO/Vendor oversight for all aspects of Data Management activities, managing data currency throughout the trial, and overall monitoring of DM deliverables according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Degree Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Experience Requirements At least 3 years of relevant industry experience is needed. Key Competency Requirements - Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary project teams and develop productive relationships with external vendors. - Sound knowledge of Clinical Drug Development Process, FDA/ICH guidelines and industry standard practices regarding data management - Strong knowledge and experience of EDC systems (Medidata RAVE preferred); demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office skills and well versed in industry trends and emerging technologies supporting data collection. - Strong project management; Exhibits expertise in metrics analysis and reporting methodologies. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
