Who we are looking for

As a Senior Fund Accountant for AIS PERA, you will join our team that is responsible for delivering reports to our Private Equity or Real Assets fund clients. Your tasks will involve preparing and/or reviewing NAV Packs and other reports of the highest quality and accuracy, delivered punctually to satisfy our clients' needs.

We seek a dedicated candidate who, as a member of the Alternative Investment Solutions, will collaborate with other departments to develop new resolutions for intricate business challenges, embraces improvements, and leverages opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to take the initiative, employ critical thinking, maintain excellent interactive relationships with team members, global business partners, and above all, our clients.

What you will be responsible for

  • Managing internal workflow to meet internal processing and client deadlines
  • Managing client expectations and liaising with both assigned client contacts and fund investors.
  • Reviewing and/or preparing quarterly and annual financial work papers, including portfolio schedules, accrivals, and partner capital allocations
  • Reviewing and/or preparing capital call and distribution calculations and related investor notices
  • Reviewing and/or preparing periodic bank and cash reconciliations and posting journal entries
  • Reviewing and/or preparing quarterly management fee calculations
  • Reviewing and/or preparing waterfall calculations and capital account allocations
  • Reviewing limited partnership agreements and offering memoranda to ensure all accounting procedures and calculations align with the fund's governing documents
  • Maintaining working relationships with all home site contacts and contributing to planning of training to address issues
  • Ensuring all processes comply with the SLA and escalate it if necessary
  • Participating in special client or internal projects as required

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
  • Good command of English
  • A finance, accounting, or business degree would be an asset
