Job Overview
As an AI Developer at TE Connectivity, you will solve complex problems and assist stakeholders in making data-driven decisions by leveraging quantitative methods, including machine learning. Your role will involve synthesizing large volumes of information and extracting actionable insights from data programmatically.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Data Scientist position supports all segments of TE Connectivity. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with various business units to understand challenges in manufacturing analytics, revenue forecasting, predictive maintenance, spend analytics, and customer service to develop and prepare analytics models and insights.
- Demonstrating expertise in natural language processing (NLP), text analytics, and generative AI using advanced AI/ML algorithms.
- Utilizing pretrained models from Hugging Face and fine-tuning large language models (LLM).
- Applying deep learning techniques for text analytics, including transformers, neural network architectures, vector databases, and embeddings.
- Leveraging generative AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and agentic methodologies like CREWAI and AutoGen.
- Applying data mining methods and statistical analysis to construct predictive systems aimed at enhancing customer experiences, revenue generation, cost reduction, and transportation optimization.
- Developing and implementing forecasting techniques, regression models, and text analytics solutions.
- Utilizing data science toolkits, including AWS, Azure ML, TensorFlow, Keras, NumPy, Sci-Kit Learn, Flask, Pandas, and PyCaret.
- Creating visualizations using tools such as ggplot, matplotlib, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Using query languages like SQL and working with data lakes, data factories, and Kubernetes.
- Developing and deploying models in Azure and AWS, leveraging CI/CD pipelines.
- Presenting data-driven insights to management effectively.
Competencies and Experience Required
- 4-6 years of experience in Model Development and Deployment.
- Proficiency in Python, Azure ML, and AWS Sagemaker.
- Expertise in statistical model building and machine learning techniques.
- Good knowledge of Data extraction, Data Cleansing, Data preparation, Model Development, and Deployment for models.
- Experience in mining and analyzing data from on-premises/cloud databases to drive optimization and process improvement.
- Good understanding of Model development, CI/CD, Docker, etc.
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as Python, Azure Machine Learning, and Auto ML tools.
- Experience in end-to-end analytical project implementation on Azure/AWS.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain accountability.
- High work quality and innovative thinking.
- Knowledge of new tools/techniques in the analytical field.
- Master's degree (preferably in Computer Science) or B.Tech/B.E.
