Your Role within QRT

We are seeking skilled Application Support Engineers to join our expanding 3rd Party Applications (3PA) group. As a pivotal member of the 3PA Engineering Support team, you'll collaborate globally to provide professional IT support for QRT users. Your role will involve enhancing monitoring and process automation to exceed Service Level Agreements.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of 3rd party applications (Refinitiv, Grafana, ChatGPT, Artifactory, etc.), including on-premise, AWS, and SaaS deployments.
• Onboard new applications and extend or enhance existing ones.
• Monitor, report, and resolve software issues to improve environment stability.
• Engage with internal users and external vendors to restore services quickly and address root causes.
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and developers to build bespoke platforms and environments.
• Develop efficient processes to optimize time-to-market and productivity.
• Implement automated, scalable application systems, processes, and controls.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3+ years of experience in support/DevOps.
• Strong knowledge in application support and incident management with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in AWS provisioning (ECS, EKS) using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, etc.
• Scripting experience in languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting network issues.
• Comfortable working with and administering Linux and Windows systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and managing Refinitiv TREP is preferable.
• Experience in trading application support is desirable.
• Working experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, Artifactory, Atlassian, Slack, etc., is an advantage.
