This role involves developing and supporting data products, playing a crucial part in the design, development and management of modern, cloud-based data engineering and data warehouse solutions utilized by internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Create high-performance data products by monetizing BI solutions, warehouses and ETL technologies
Work closely with various teams such as client, sales, IT, media planning and buying
Design, develop and productionize data engineering pipelines on a massively parallel processing (MPP) and cloud-based tech stack, leveraging solutions from hybrid-clouds (Azure, AWS), data lakes and multiple data warehouses.
Perform data management tasks including: ETL/data feed management, metadata management, creation of database objects as needed (like Stored procedures, Stages, Indexes), optimization of data pipelines.
Maintain best practices for handling, storing, and using data.
Tools: Apache Spark (Pyspark), Pandas, Python, any modern database (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres), familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI and data engineering stack on public clouds – AWS, Azure, Google would be beneficial.
A BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
At least 5 years of experience designing and developing BI solutions
Experience with the AWS product range, specifically: Redshift, AWS Glue and Lambda functions, Python/Spark
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
In-depth understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Deep understanding of ETL and data warehouse principles
Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Technical documentation skills
Ability to articulate complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner
Self-driven and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
Specific Skills Required: A minimum of 5 years of SQL experience, 3 years of ETL experience. Python based data wrangling experience is highly desired. Strong data warehouse knowledge.
Experience with large data sets and Web and Digital marketing data.

The annual compensation range for this position is $106,500 - $167,500. This is the pay range that the Company believes it will offer for this position at the time of posting. In accordance with applicable law, pay will be determined based on the applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience, along with the requirements of the position. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will provide medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
