Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and action on requirements and future work through active listening; balance these with urgent requirements.
  • Gather and translate unclear business requirements into technical and tactical action items.
  • Analyze customer behaviors and preferences to identify meaningful audience segments.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to translate business problems into high-level analytics solution designs.
  • Leverage advanced analytics approaches, methodologies, and best practices to drive informative decisions.
  • Develop and deliver proof of concept technical solutions using real, scrambled, or mocked-up data.
  • Translate strategy into action; communicate complex issues simply and orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Prioritize projects and milestones, ensuring alignment on important tasks, and seek clarity when needed.
  • Independently identify and engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure project progression.
  • Set and align milestones and deadlines based on project context and criticality.
  • Clearly present technical builds and data flows to communicate their impact on the overall project.
  • Consult with all levels of management and key business stakeholders and present analytic solutions that generate business value.
  • Collaborate with team members to apply relevant analytic techniques and create actionable business insights.
  • Make presentations to senior management, communicate results to business teams, and develop plans to operationalize analytics solutions.

Requirements:

  • 12-18 years of professional work experience with at least 7 years in HR analytics.
  • Ability to engage with executive/VP-level stakeholders to translate business problems into high-level analytics solutions.
  • Agile operation with a focus on momentary importance while progressing on projects.
  • Perseverance in face of roadblocks to ensure project continuity.
  • System design thinking with the ability to translate observations into tactical action items.
  • Positive attitude for healthy compromise and collaborative operation within a project team.
  • ‘Good enough’ approach to balance timelines, urgency, and project stages with expected accuracy.
  • Strong project and team management skills with the ability to work with global teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with tools like R, Python, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Experience with HR data.
  • Graduate in Business Analytics or MBA or equivalent work experience.
