Join Our Team as a Business Systems Analyst

We are actively seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst to join the dynamic Self-Service and Systems team at Smartsheet. This critical role involves collaborating with team members to implement and maintain AI-driven tools and resources within the various software solutions utilized by our technical support organization. Your primary responsibility will be completing assigned and recurring tasks, which includes creating and maintaining AI-powered models, recurring and ad-hoc reporting, and model testing and tuning.

Responsibilities

• Work within the support organization to build, implement, and maintain AI solutions using features provided by system vendors.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Assist in developing and maintaining reports, data collection systems, data analytics, AI models, and other resources to optimize efficiency and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making processes.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementation of best practices that guide AI model usage and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in data science, applied statistics, computer science, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technology, technical support, or customer support.
• At least one year of experience working with AI technologies, including large language models, generative responses, etc.
• Understanding of language processing methods, machine learning techniques, and deep learning models.
• Knowledge of AI prompts, relevance rules, and tools such as Coveo, Salesforce, GPT, ChatGPT, and Amazon Lex.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python for task automation and report generation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to create analytic reports and complete testing scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Understanding of API creation and maintenance to improve resource and model performance.

Compensation

Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles across different geographic areas. The actual compensation will be determined by factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location. For this role, the compensation range is:

• California & New York: $94,500 to $143,100
• All other US States: $87,500 to $132,500
