Our client, in agreement with the government, plans to implement support for the use of the digital channel to make users autonomous in their online administrative procedures for public service aspects, while providing more inclusive solutions to reduce the digital divide.
One of the operational objectives of this strategy is the creation of a personal assistant (ChatBot), integrated into a personal space, to assist users in the use of this service.
For your information, another operational objective (not covered by this mission) is the development of a decentralized virtual digital counter, composed of several interactive touch terminals, installed in these public welcome centers, including the necessary assistance for their use.
The short-term goal is to achieve a POC of the ChatBot ideally using AI features to better understand and guide the user - potentially using the "Bot As A Service" and to assess its performance and use. Then, 2024 will see the integration of a tool defined on the basis of this POC in the ecosystem of the platform.
This ChatBot must be capable of offering the following features to the users of the digital counter and later of the touch terminals:
- Guidance and assistance: guiding users in their online administrative procedures by providing relevant information and assisting them in navigating the MonEspace platform.
- Problem-solving: helping to solve common problems encountered by users when using the platform, by providing them with clear instructions and solutions.
- Natural language interaction: The ChatBot must have the ability to understand and respond in natural language to offer a smooth user experience.
- Personalized advice: provide personalized advice based on the specific needs of each user, using relevant information extracted from the platform.
- Performance tracking: collect data on its use, on the questions asked by users, and the problems resolved, in order to allow continuous improvement.
Our client wishes to equip the Multichannel Service Center with an additional analyst, to be able to support the current team on this project. Indeed, our current capacity does not fully support this new project.
In the course of the mission, the following tasks are expected from the profile:
- Participate in preliminary analyses:
- Market analysis of ChatBots (benchmark of candidates / participation in demos).
- Exploration of the current and future technical environment of the ma.Wallonie ecosystem and the ChatBot resources included by the various Cloud hosting providers selected by the client.
- Definition of the content handled by the service and the effective scope of the ChatBot.
- Participation in reflection on ergonomics.
- Develop the POC based on these preliminary analyses in cooperation with the internal and external operational and IT teams, then improve this POC so that it becomes a tool integrable into production.
- Collaborate in project monitoring,
- Assistance in defining and monitoring the action plan
- Assistance in project management
- Monitoring of the use of the tool put in place and identification of points for improvement

- You are a computer scientist specializing in software/web, and you have proven experience in the design of ChatBots and web interfaces.
- You have experience in an Agile environment.
- You have experience in the field of natural language processing.
- You have experience in artificial intelligence.
- You have a confirmed level in chatbox project.
- You have a confirmed level in conversational web interfaces.
- You have knowledge of GDPR principles.
- You are fluent in French and have a good command of English.
