Company Description
In 5 years, Ubble has emerged as a crucial French player in online identity verification. Its proprietary technology, based on real-time video recognition, is unparalleled globally. Our client base includes both traditional businesses and start-ups such as DocuSign, UberEats, Crédit Agricole, BPI, Stuart, Swile, Treezor, etc.
Our mission is to allow citizens to utilize their civil identity securely and conveniently in the digital world, fostering the necessary trust between digital services and their users. We guard users against identity theft, and service providers from fraud.
In 2022, Ubble was purchased by Checkout.com with the objective of jointly building the future of identity.
Hybrid Working Model: All our offices globally accommodate employees three times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We have endeavored to establish an environment that facilitates collaborative work while also providing opportunities to partner with colleagues globally. We offer a range of snacks, breakfast, and lunch options at the office.
Job Description
The role
You will be joining the team at a critical moment:
- With the backing of the Checkout.com international group, Ubble now has the resources to become a global leader in digital identity. We have recently made significant strides with the introduction of two new products. However, the journey towards ensuring the success and global deployment of these products has just started. There's much more to achieve!
- The data team has recently transitioned to a contemporary data stack (dbt, Snowflake, Looker, Stitch, Monte Carlo, Airflow), enabling new types of analysis and monitoring and opening up opportunities for significant impact.
In this scenario, the data team lies at the heart of Ubble’s product development initiatives, and its role is pivotal in meeting our objectives!
In practical terms, your tasks will encompass the following:
- A year ago, Ubble chose to structure its tech and product team around 'tribes', led by a Data Analyst/Product Manager duo. This close collaboration provides the opportunity to co-develop the product roadmap along with an experienced Product Manager.
- Take charge of monitoring and driving the performance of a whole section of the product (a.k.a. "tribe"). This involves defining key metrics, developing monitoring capabilities (dbt/Looker), tracking and alerting, as well as ensuring data reliability.
- Independently identify opportunities for product improvement and enhancement of key metrics.
- Build and enhance processes to optimize the impact of data within Ubble, and ultimately support the growth of this team.
Our proposal
- Develop strategy for one of our tribes, in coordination with a product manager.
- Complete independence in the management of multi-disciplinary projects (development, data engineering, business intelligence, and product), and absolute freedom to question and suggest improvements to existing systems.
- The chance to develop product-centric data skills, by working with extremely diverse and rich data sets.
- You will become part of a rapidly growing data team.
- A robust, healthy corporate culture based on care, high standards, focusing on impact and pragmatism.
- An attractive package that corresponds with your profile.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years' experience in data analysis.
- Pragmatic and structured: capable of resolving complex problems step-by-step and providing clear, concise, and actionable conclusions.
- Professional fluency in French and English.
- Team player (questioning, humility, open to challenge and feedback).
- Creative and proactive: adept at finding simple and innovative solutions to complex problems, and proactively exploring new ways to leverage data.
- Curious and detail-oriented: interested in exploring and understanding trends and anomalies that arise.
- Solid knowledge of SQL, experience with "modern data stack" tools (dbt, Snowflake, and others), and experience with python/R is a plus.
