How You Can Help Make a Better World of Work

We seek a Data Analyst to join our collaborative, efficient, and fun data analytics team. In this role, you will partner with the sales and customer success teams, providing actionable insights, metrics, and dashboards to enhance performance. Being part of a dynamic team, your role may extend into analytics engineering, enabling our teams to self-service. Additionally, you will support other business teams like product development or marketing, unlocking value that can delight our customers and internal teams and elevate our product.

Our Technology Stack

Our technology stack is constantly evolving and includes:

  • Looker for visualization and reporting
  • Redshift as our SQL engine
  • dbt for data modeling
  • Amplitude for product analytics

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with leaders in the organization to understand their analytics needs, primarily in sales and customer success.
  • Creating and maintaining scalable, actionable, and easily digestible dashboards in our BI tool to automate reporting and forecasting.
  • Providing actionable recommendations to improve customer outcomes (retention, expansion, or product adoption) by analyzing product usage and customer data.
  • Defining metrics to track internal performance and customer outcomes.
  • Identifying data gaps and collaborating with analytics engineers to model and sync new fields into our data warehouse, BI tool, and customer management systems (Salesforce and Vitally).
  • Collaborating with other analysts to define processes and best practices and elevate the analytics practice to the next level.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for descriptive analytics.
  • Experience building dashboards and analyzing data with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI (preferably Looker).
  • Knowledge of statistical methods to summarize, describe, and find relationships in data.
  • Experience with data cleaning, validation, and modeling, preferably with dbt.
  • Understanding of common software practices like version control, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
  • Interest in SaaS sales or customer success processes, metrics, and systems (e.g., CRM software, recurring revenue, churn, win rate).
  • Some experience analyzing data with Python or R is desirable but not required.
