Job Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality AI solutions that meet our business needs and technological standards.
  • Contribute to both the short- and long-term agenda of data science-related products.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and supporting teams across various products.
  • Work independently and closely with other roles, including Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Engineers.
  • Transform large datasets into business insights through advanced analytics, modeling, and machine learning.
  • Explore datasets, develop new algorithms, perform feature engineering, test and evaluate model outputs, and deploy solutions for production use.
  • Frame business problems as ML problems and suggest appropriate evaluation metrics.

Required Competencies

  • Deep Learning: Experienced in NLP, Computer Vision, Time Series, Classification, Clustering, or Reinforcement Learning.
  • Optimization: Familiar with various optimization techniques.
  • Statistics: Ability to plan and interpret A/B testing results.
  • Python Programming: Proficient in coding, project structuring, and developing unit-testing methods.
  • Proactive Research & Exploration: Skillful in suggesting improvements and identifying bugs.
  • Advanced SQL Knowledge.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Competent in deploying and debugging ML solutions.
  • Data Visualization: Comfortable with plotting and drawing findings from data visualizations.
  • Strong foundation in analytics, mathematical modeling, and computer science.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in data science.
  • Proficiency in Python and applied knowledge in statistics and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and production-grade software development.
  • Proactive and takes clear ownership of deliverables.
  • Eager to learn and grow within the role.
