Job Description

  • Design and implement the necessary infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and data loading from a variety of data sources using SQL, NoSQL, SAAS APIs, either on-premises or cloud-based, including 'big data' technologies.
  • Lead digital initiatives, project planning and work with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Prepare analytical datasets (ADS) to support our data science and modeling/AI team in building and deploying statistical models (for example, predictive models).
  • Develop standards and processes for integration projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions that leverage emerging technologies.
  • Ensure that all data solutions are consistent and all automated processes preserve data by managing the alignment of data availability and integration processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science or a related major
  • 2-4 years of experience in related analytical, business systems or data engineering fields
  • Expert SQL proficiency with proven competencies in designing well-architected data models is a benefit
  • Understanding of high-performance data science algorithms
  • Experience working with large datasets, possessing strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  • Understanding and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, and developing actionable recommendations for business units
