Job Description

Delta is seeking a highly qualified individual for the role of Head of Data Center Service in the EMEA region. This pivotal role will be the primary point of contact for Data Center operators, enterprises, and Business Line Sales teams regarding all service requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and optimizing service scopes and SLA programs based on sales and customer needs, delivering service offers, and providing cost estimates.

The Head of Data Center Service will oversee service content related to products and solutions, working closely with Sales, R&D, and Regional Service teams. Key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role include SLA compliance, service revenue maximization, ecosystem development, and customer satisfaction.

Detailed Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Ownership of all service-related tasks, ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Responsibility for the overall service performance of the business line.
  • Conduct feasibility checks for new service requirements and assess costs in collaboration with other service functions.
  • Define new services and determine implementation costs.
  • Ongoing optimization of end-to-end (e2e) service processes.
  • Project management for implementing changes.
  • Definition of service-related GT&Cs (General Terms and Conditions).
  • Coordinate projects to resolve cross-regional and cross-functional service issues.
  • Ensure creation and QoS (Quality of Service) content for all service functions, including remote, on-site services, supply chain, and repairs.
  • Implement quality findings and coordinate with Business Units (BUs).
  • Drive the service life cycle process, including NPI (New Product Introduction) and EOL (End of Life), ensuring availability of all necessary information such as service BOMs (Bill of Materials).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of service experience, including at least 5 years leading service teams.
  • Experience with UPS and/or Data Center infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of end-to-end service processes.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Structured and persistent working style.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
