Opportunity: The Head of Global Data Strategy (Senior Director), reporting to the Global Risk Solutions (GRS) Chief Data Officer, will be responsible for shaping the vision for the global data strategy roadmap (covering US, East and West regions), tackling unclear business issues through capabilities achieved in the roadmap. This person connects the global roadmap to missions that enhance the customer experience, as quantified by relevant KPIs. The Senior Director, collaborating with Data Asset Management, US Data Operations, and E/W Data teams, ensures that data use cases are correctly represented within the missions and leverages the data capacities outlined in the data strategy roadmap. The Senior Director leads the team in building and maintaining the global data strategy roadmap through effective prioritization of tasks. This position requires high-levels of technical and industry expertise and is charged with complex strategy and coordination tasks. Responsibilities: - Ownership of the global (US, East, West) data strategy roadmap. - Establishing the strategic vision for the data strategy roadmap. - Building a competent team to create and maintain the global data strategy roadmap. - Directing research on emerging data and technology trends. - Collaborating with various teams to prioritize data use cases and build data capabilities. - Developing, maintaining, and enforcing a broad governance policy. - Acting as a Change Leader, guiding the organization's understanding of data. - Possessing an Agile mindset and partnering within Agile teams. - Being a compelling storyteller to gain strategy support. - Possibility of up to 25% travel requirement. Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in developing and executing global strategy. - Strong relationship development skills with all stakeholders. - Strong influencing ability across teams and functional stakeholders. - Effective written and oral communication skills. - Experience in communicating ideas to senior business leaders. - BA/BS, or relevant work experience, in Computer Science or related field is desired. An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline like Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics is strongly preferred. - 10+ years experience in coding methodologies and design principles, particularly in open-source tools and technology. - A proven record of delivering products, from conception to launch.
