About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a visionary and influential Chief Learning Officer (CLO) to join our team. This externally-focused role will act as the company’s chief ambassador, thought leader, and catalyst for change in the learning industry. The CLO will collaborate closely with our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to enhance our brand’s presence and drive strategic growth.

Additionally, the CLO will lead the creation and leadership of a vibrant learning and development community, positioning Docebo as a central hub for industry dialogue and collaboration. Internally, the CLO will shape Docebo’s talent culture, working alongside our CEO, Chief People Officer, and Executive Team.

Responsibilities:

Thought Leadership & Industry Influence:

  • Represent Docebo at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.
  • Develop and share thought leadership content, including research papers, articles, and blog posts.
  • Engage with educational technology and learning communities to drive industry discussions.

Learning & Development Community Leadership:

  • Establish and lead a dynamic learning and development community.
  • Organize and facilitate events, webinars, and forums to foster continuous learning and development.
  • Act as a mentor and advocate within the community.

Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration:

  • Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with top HR Executives and influencers.
  • Collaborate with the CMO to align external messaging with company goals.
  • Identify and pursue joint ventures and collaborative projects.

Internal Learning and Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Design and oversee targeted training initiatives.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

Innovation & Vision:

  • Contribute strategic direction on the development of new products and solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in learning technology.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive innovation.

Brand & Market Positioning:

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to enhance Docebo’s brand visibility.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure all communications reflect our thought leadership.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Partner with the executive team to identify and prioritize learning and development needs.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Team to design and implement a holistic strategy.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • An extensive learning background with 10+ years of experience, including roles as a VP of Talent, VP Learning and Development, or CLO.
  • Success in building and leading communities focused on collaboration.
  • A robust network with executive-level learning and development professionals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong partnership skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Passion for learning and leveraging technology for innovation.
