Work involves improvements to robotic accuracy and control based on reinforcement learning. This role requires advanced software skills and knowledge of mechatronics, including design and fabrication abilities. Proficiency with Python, Arduino, mechanical and electronic CAD tools such as FreeCAD and GEDA, middleware such as ROS and OpenCV, and optimization packages like IPOPT is desirable. CNC milling, 3D printing and other prototyping skills are also desired. Most importantly, the role requires a strong imagination and creativity to solve unique problems that are not textbook cases.
