Job Description

Join our team in the Acoustics and Vibrations Department and be part of national and international research and development (R&D) projects. We are looking for a Junior or Semi-Senior Data Engineer who is passionate about technology and challenges in data analysis and Machine Learning. If you have experience in the world of data engineering and want to be part of a multidisciplinary team that works on innovative projects, this is your chance!

 

Main Tasks

  • Data Processing: Acquisition, cleaning, and transformation of acoustic data from various sources for analysis.
  • Pipeline Development: Design and maintenance of efficient and scalable data pipelines to support R&D projects.
  • ML Development: Collaboration in the implementation of Machine Learning models for predictive analysis and acoustic data classification.
  • Data Visualization: Creating interactive visualizations and reports to effectively present results.
  • Optimization: Research and application of techniques to improve the efficiency and accuracy of models and data analysis processes.

The weekly workday will be full time.

Requirements

  • Academic Training: Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience programming with Python. Familiarity with data processing tools such as Pandas and NumPy. Knowledge of Machine Learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn and TensorFlow is a plus.
  • Experience with Databases: Familiarity with SQL databases.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical results within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proactive and Self-Learner: Ability to learn autonomously and stay up to date with the latest trends in Data Engineering and Machine Learning.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other professionals in multidisciplinary projects.
