What does being a Machine Learning Engineer at Gozem entail?

Our Machine Learning Engineer will tackle open-ended business problems to boost engagement and rejuvenate long-term growth by building and maintaining Gozem ML solutions. You will actively cooperate with our Product Manager and Tech Team to incorporate new features into our app to scale up our operations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of the Data Science Team to define the ML models required
  • Establish and maintain ML model training/prediction pipelines in production
  • Oversee and assist our infrastructure and production models
  • Build reusable tools and frameworks for ML model deployment and monitoring
  • Implement cutting-edge, big-data frameworks to support batch and real-time jobs
  • Identify potential system bottlenecks and perform optimizations

You would be a perfect fit for this job if you have...

  • Experience working with ML model training/deployment tools such as Airflow, Kubeflow, Seldon etc.
  • Knowledge in infrastructure aspects, including Cloud Computing, Linux OS, Docker, RDBMS, and NoSQL Databases
  • Work experience with open source ML libraries such as Tensorflow, , and XGBoost etc.
  • Experience with large-scale systems in data science, and creating production ML pipelines for model training/prediction

You possess:

  • Educational level: A Master's degree (desirable but not compulsory) in Computer Science or Big Data Engineering
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Self-directed learning ability, independence, and a passion for sharing knowledge with team members
  • Mandatory skills: Familiarity with big data engineering tools such as Spark, Kafka, Google cloud etc.
  • Supplementary skills: Proficiency in any programming language (Python)
  • Tools to master: Asana, G-Suite

  • An introductory meeting with the recruitment manager (15 minutes)
  • A written interview questionnaire
  • A 45-minute analytic exercise.
  • A business case to be completed within 8 days
  • A presentation of your business case to the head of the Data team (future supervisor) and a time to discuss your professional experience followed by a referral request (providing us with 4 professional contacts to whom we will send a questionnaire)
  • One final validation interview with one of our co-founders
