We are passionate about enabling individuals to create stunning and impactful images, videos, and apps, as well as revolutionizing how companies engage with customers across all screens. We are dedicated to hiring the best talent and are committed to creating exceptional experiences for our employees, where respect is paramount and equal opportunities are accessible to all. We understand that innovative ideas can come from all areas within the organization and we believe the next groundbreaking idea could originate from you! The Opportunity Our team is a spirited mix of storytellers, technology pioneers, and revolutionaries. Building on the initial success of Adobe Adobe Express, we are now reimagining (from scratch!) how individuals discover, create and publish a variety of media - from graphics to imaging to video - directly in their browsers and on their mobile devices. We strive to develop swift and user-friendly product experiences that enable students, social influencers, marketers, small businesses, and anyone with a story to tell, to create content that stands out and impresses their audience. We are in need of an experienced software developer and architect to design and establish an infrastructure and tools for an analytics platform for Express and Adobe Apps. The Challenge We are in search of a senior manager to lead a high-performance team with a passion for solving business problems using data. You and your team will work as strategic partners with senior business leaders to identify opportunities and problems, test hypotheses, develop analytics and data science solutions, and reveal insights to improve Express for our users and expand the business. What You'll Do As a hands-on manager, deliver analytically sound insights and recommendations and cultivate a high-performing team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. Use a profound understanding of the business, key metrics, and data-driven insights to drive growth and achieve tangible business outcomes. Collaborate with product and engineering partners to address crucial "why" questions, guiding the team in translating vague business challenges into actionable plans. Ensure consistent, reliable technical outputs that facilitate data-informed decisions in line with organizational objectives. Effectively communicate complex analytical discoveries to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an understandable manner. Encourage the formation of diverse, talented teams within an inclusive culture. Develop and maintain an analysis and machine learning roadmap to better understand users and stimulate growth in Express. What we’re looking for A candidate with a Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent experience. At least 3 years experience managing teams of data scientists and promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and constant improvement. Knowledge of SaaS and mobile software usage analytics, including a strong product sense and understanding of business strategy. Hands-on experience as a data scientist, algorithmic engineer, or machine learning engineer in a tech company, with the ability to delve into the data and use creative thinking and problem-solving skills to derive actionable insight. Demonstrated skills in selecting the appropriate statistical tools given a data analysis problem. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience with hypothesis-driven product development. Experience being a thought partner to improve decision quality and the ability to influence with expertise. Experience in building predictive ML models both for offline analysis as well as in-product feature integration. Strong project management and delivery experience. Preferred: Experience with ML Ops and related governance processes.
