• Completion of a PhD in the fields of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Statistics / Data Science / Computer Science
• 2 to 5 years of industrial experience with innovations in AI/ML, NLP, and Computer Vision
• Proficiency in machine learning, supervised and unsupervised: Forecasting, Classification, Data/Text Mining, Computer Vision, NLP, Search Algorithms, Deep Learning Algorithms
• Responsible for leading research and architecture, design and implementation
• Deep knowledge of machine learning/statistical algorithms such as deep learning
• Ability to mentor team members by contributing to research papers, journals, and patent filings
• Experience in tackling complex problems and formulating data science algorithms with adequate attention to computational efficiency
• Skilled in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large quantities of data
• Ensures alignment of models with Responsible AI principles by investigating statistical frameworks.
• Familiarity with model interpretability frameworks like Lime, Shap, etc.
• Experience using code versioning tools such as GIT, Bitbucket for collaboration on projects
• Influential experience within the Data Science industry, with the ability to impact stakeholders across multiple work streams and geographic locations, and a willingness to challenge existing models to improve base-line ones and those already in production.
• Responsibility to perform literature review, analyze existing solutions and techniques, detect flaws and devise new methods to rectify the identified shortcomings.
• Demonstrated capability to convert business issues into mathematical programming problems, use external tools and ideas (from academia or other industries) to engineer a solution and offer business insights.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Independent, organized thinker with acute attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Able to write Python code for model building, data exploration, analysis, what-if analysis, and model comparison
• Exceptional verbal, visual, and written communication skills to educate and collaborate with diverse teams on controlled experiments.
• Willing to learn AIoT, Edge AI, etc., and keep up-to-date with technologies

Qualifications

• A completed PhD in the fields of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Statistics / Data Science / Computer Science
• Research paper submissions, journal publications, IP filings
