Job Description

What’s the opportunity?

The Product Data Analyst position at iAdvize is a highly autonomous role with endless possibilities to positively influence our teams, clients, and products.

The role is a vital part of the Data team and the Product & Engineering division of the company, instrumental in realizing our vision of a fully data-driven product.

The Product Data Analyst will report to the Head of Data and will work closely with product managers & designers, engineers, and customer-success analysts - a versatile group of professionals dedicated to creating solutions and experiences that deliver real value to customers.

At the intersection of Product, Design, Engineering, and Data, you will assess the impact of our product initiatives, generate and communicate actionable insights, and identify areas of enhancement to steer our product strategy and development.

What will your missions be?

  • Work with stakeholders to define key success metrics and assess the impact of new product features
  • Generate insights on our products to inform product strategy and development
  • Establish necessary data workflows to facilitate data-driven decision-making
  • Design, monitor, and improve the dashboard system used by stakeholders to access data
  • Promote a Data culture within the company: identify needs, provide support, participate in outreach initiatives

Qualifications

What skills do you need?

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics
  • Previous experience in a quantitative analytical role such as Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent work experience
  • Outstanding proficiency in SQL and knowledge of at least one other programming language (ideally Python)
  • Proficiency in data visualization and related tools such as Tableau or its equivalent
  • Experience with product and web analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics)
  • Experience in establishing reliable and efficient relationships with product/engineering/customer-success teams to impact shared practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: storytelling ability, outreach, and collaborative mindset
  • High level of autonomy and creativity: diligent in your methodological approaches, pragmatic when setting priorities and capable of thinking “outside the box” for maximum impact
  • Product acumen (understanding of product challenges, organization, etc.)
  • Fluency in English language

Bonus points

  • Strong understanding/experience of the SaaS industry/business orientation
  • Understanding of legal aspects related to data protection (GDPR)
  • Experience with product tools like Product Board or equivalent
  • Experience with ELT processes and tools
