Quant Analytics Associate - Data Analytics Reporting

As a Quant Analytics Associate in our Data Analytics Reporting Team, your role will involve developing a strong understanding of unique processes, compliance responsibilities, and workflow for each line of business (LOB) request. This role will focus on maintaining standardized processes, aligned metrics, and overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Utilize SQL tools effectively to research issues and assess data conditions for performance management applications.
  • Understand the hierarchy structures, system data, and workflows for various LOBs.
  • Assess and manage changes to business hierarchy models, data sets, and reporting calculations, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to existing and new workflows to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Lead controls-related activities, including exam readiness and access oversight.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to aid their performance data reporting strategies.
  • Develop and manage complex data processing workflows using various automation tools.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Review and analyze issue tickets, providing thorough documentation.
  • Query databases to identify performance data aiding in accurate reporting, issue resolution, and improved customer experience.
  • Ensure analytics steps are accurate, supporting team understanding and goal achievement.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to meet data integrity and regulatory governance mandates.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements to technology partners.
  • Perform root cause analysis on process breaks and implement solutions.
  • Continuously develop skills for best-in-class customer experience and precise performance metrics.
  • Meet daily application and hierarchy updates within service level guidelines accurately.
  • Participate in application testing and production validations to support project deliverables.
  • Oversee and manage complex data processing workflows using various automation tools.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Knowledge of effective project management and Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of Contact Center and Back Office functions.
  • Strong collaboration and solution consulting skills.
  • Ability to adjust approaches based on new findings to ensure appropriate focus.
  • Proven competency in business data analysis and data workflow automation using tools like Alteryx.
  • Strong data modeling understanding for building and interpreting workflows.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Experience in workflow analysis and documentation.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong testing experience and discipline.
  • Ability to identify and initiate strategic plans for process improvements.
  • Develop recommendations to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledgeable in business issue escalation processes.
  • Intermediate-level experience with SQL query applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau is a plus.
