Currently, we are in search of a dedicated individual with strong technical/analytical skills and hands-on experience to join the Device, Digital, and Alexa Support (D2AS) team as a Business Intelligence Engineer on the Science & Analytics Team. We need someone with a solid understanding of BI engineering, who can handle large data sets, build the data required for analyzing information, identify essential business insights, and assist stakeholders in generating the suitable metrics for measuring the success criteria. Ability to cope with ambiguity, foresee bottlenecks and escalations, and setting realistic yet ambitious expectations are all vital for the success of our platform. In this role, your duties include: Working closely with Product Managers, Scientists, Engineers, and Data Engineers on developing BI/ analytics solutions to measure the performance of new and existing solutions (including ML models) and find out new opportunities for improvements. You will be examining trending metrics to identify root causes of issues and devise improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will also be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing data pipelines, metrics, reports, visualizations, analyses, dashboards, etc., to drive business decisions. Teaming up with Product Managers, Data Engineers, scientists to develop a mechanism to measure the performance of a new, complex project funded in 2023 that aims to create a cohesive generative AI solution to enhance customer experience. Working with D2AS stakeholders to transition visualization tools to better adjust applications within the AWS ecosystem. Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining. The compensation for this position varies from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market, depending on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
