Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you'll be instrumental in developing data infrastructure and pipelines to capture, combine, organize, and centralize data while ensuring the data is easily accessible and in a usable condition, including quality assurance.

 

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Enterprise Data - Data Engineering - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make every day your own while working with people who care to enable you to deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Identify customer needs and intended data uses in the development of database requirements and support planning and the engineering of enterprise databases.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of database technologies, complex coding languages, and computer system skills.
  • Analyze new data sources and monitor the performance, scalability, and security of the data.
  • Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand integration requirements.
  • Help in designing and implementing API Integrations within different software systems in Modeling applications.
  • Write and maintain API Documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and debug integration issues while identifying and solving technical obstacles.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API Integration.

 

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required experiences

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant Data Engineering and insight experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in APIs, RESTful services, and webhooks.
  • Proficient in Python object-oriented programming and application of data manipulation tools.
  • Experience with relational database services like RDS, AWS Aurora
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience with AWS (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, EC2, Lambda, and ECS Services & Tasks)
  • Ability to diagnose causes of operating errors and take corrective measures
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data.
  • Experience assisting an organization to plan and manage changes to meet strategic objectives.

Desired Experiences

  • Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with people from different functional expertise towards a common goal.
  • The set of skills related to Product Testing including software evaluation, usability testing, UAT, and usage of relevant product testing technology.
  • The set of skills related to Communication including written and oral communication, copywriting, communication planning and distribution, etc.
  • Understand how to use GraphQL to define an API schema for users to perform CRUD operations based on user permissions.
  • Understand how to frame ideas as systems and analyze the inputs, outputs and processes.
  • Proficiency in XML, JSON
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience
  • AWS Certifications
