Senior Data Engineer Opportunity at Nokia
The Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO) at Nokia is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a solid background in analytics, data science, machine learning, and big data. Join our team to advance our MLOps platforms.
Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and implement AIML Data platforms using cloud architecture with both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Analyse technical requirements from solution architects and translate them into executable software designs and configurations.
- Evaluate various technologies and platforms for feasibility and fit.
- Adhere to agile and PM practices, reporting sprint progress.
- Provide technical guidance for projects and solution designs.
- Participate in prototyping, pilots, and PoC’s.
- Offer production support post-deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest digital market technologies, trends, and innovations.
- Inspect and verify the quality of releases before delivery.
- Analyze ideas and demands for technological and architectural fit, offering technical estimates for cost/benefit analysis.
- Code, develop, build, and propose detailed technical solutions utilizing current or new technologies.
Qualifications
To be successful, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in MLOps and a deep understanding of machine learning frameworks.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data architecture, and coding, particularly in Python.
- Hands-on experience in data science and statistical modeling.
- Experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
- Understanding of Golang.
- Experience with open-source machine learning tools.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD.
- Experience in cloud technologies/cloud computing (GCP, Azure, or AWS)/ on-premise.
- Relevant knowledge in continuous monitoring, including alerting tools for models or risk assessment (model drift, concept drift, data drift).
- Basic knowledge of the telecom domain.
