The Role

We’re hiring Machine Learning Engineers, ideally with a background in Natural Language Processing, to manage all aspects of our dialogue systems, from refining Language Learning Models to service delivery models, building data pipelines, and entity resolutions. It’s ok if you don't have a background in NLP, if you have strong Python experience, some exposure to Machine Learning and a keenness to learn and delve into this sector, you’re welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining a fine-tuning pipeline for open-source Language Learning Models. Testing different model architectures at various sizes and quantizations is crucial.
• Serving and deploying the Language Learning Model on Graphic Processing Units. It’s important to understand different configurations to prevent runtime memory overflow.
• Formulate unique product challenges into machine learning problems and quickly propose and iterate solutions. We value speedy development.
• Assign customer issues to model/system flaws and explain the intricate architecture in a simple and understanding manner to internal stakeholders.
• Staying updated with the rapidly expanding generative AI space and incorporating the latest advancements into our system.

You

• MS/Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, or another quantitative field or exceptional work experience in Machine Learning engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years Machine Learning experience.
• Experience building machine-learning-driven products on a large scale.
• Problem-solving experience using Machine Learning with .
• Exceptional understanding of designing large-scale Machine Learning systems in production and using a quantitative approach to identify performance bottlenecks and cost/performance trade-offs.
• Practical experience with large data systems, data models, and batch and streaming data pipelines. 
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with our tech stack, which includes GCP, Kubernetes, Airflow, Pandas, PyTorch, Python, and Node.js.
• Extensive experience with model deployment, both static within applications, and dynamic, using Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.

Depending on skills and experiences, the expected for this role is between $208,000-$234,000.
