Equifax is seeking an experienced Data Scientist who will contribute to resolving the requirements and projects for the US Data Science Marketing team. In this role, you will develop supervised and unsupervised learning models, optimization, automation, and implement innovative analytic solutions, collaborating with an expert and multicultural team of international Data Scientists. The shared aim is to research and share best practices and the latest market technologies.
Work with key clients and stakeholders to support the development of proprietary analytical products and custom scores as part of co-innovation projects. Effectively communicate analytical results to key stakeholders using robust data visualizations, superior presentation skills, and business language to emphasize the significance of the analysis.
Support the redesign of the data science model development lifecycle using the latest techniques and methodologies, and invent new ones when required.
Manage projects including defining business and technical requirements, resource planning, and designing analytical solutions.
Provide recommendations and market insights that support the resolution of complex business problems.
Ensure quality control of all analytical outputs by junior and intermediate data scientists.
Mentor and coach junior and intermediate data scientists in career development and improvement of data science skills.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field like Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
6+ years of experience working as a data scientist and using Python, SQL, or R in a large data environment.
6+ years of advanced experience with machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, decision trees, scenario analysis, random forests, XGBoost, and unsupervised learning (cluster analysis).
6+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and implementing analytical solutions to resolve real-world problems.
6+ years of experience working with machine learning software, such as scikit learn, XGBoost, Tensorflow, , Transformers.
Advanced English.
Ability to innovate solutions to new client business problems.
A background in financial services, marketing, or agency work.
Experience working with credit or fraud data, and in leadership and mentorship.
Experience with development and deployment of models in a cloud-based environment, AWS or GCP is preferred.
Master’s degree in a business-related field/MBA.
