Job Opportunity: Supervisor Master Data Management at Stryker

Key Activities & Accountabilities

The responsibilities of the Supervisor MDM include, but are not limited to:

Operations Management

• Organizing and distributing the team's activities
• Demand planning and handling backlog
• Ensuring a backup structure and allocating resources according to workload fluctuations
• Driving process standardization and continuous improvement
• Developing, maintaining, and reporting KPIs
• Ensuring relevant policies and guidelines are followed and embedded into day-to-day operations
• Serving as escalation point for MDM related matters with resolution capabilities
• Working closely with different departments and proactively managing stakeholders
• Adopting process excellence methodology (lean six sigma, MDI, change control) and ensuring compliance

Control and Compliance

• Maintaining a quality-focused culture within the team
• Preparing/reviewing SOX controls as defined by the EFSSC controls framework
• Defining corrective actions when necessary
• Reviewing, creating, and maintaining internal processes and controls documentation
• Identifying, developing, and delivering relevant MDM training
• Maintaining objectivity, independence, and due professional care consistent with Stryker and external standards
• Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential

People Management

• Leading and developing the team
• Working with direct reports to establish goals and objectives
• Driving improvements in employee engagement (Q12)
• Ensuring that relevant information is communicated to direct reports enabling them to effectively carry out their functions
• Delegating tasks in line with skill, knowledge, and ability, and addressing skill gaps and training as necessary
• Addressing issues that may impact performance, including personnel issues such as staff conflicts and absenteeism

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HBO Degree in Finance / Business-related subjects
• Lean or Six Sigma green/black belt is a plus
• Fluency in spoken and written English; any other European language is a plus

Work Experience

• 3-5 years of combined professional experience in finance master data management (vendor, customer, items, employees, chart of accounts, or shared service organization)
• Experience with Service Now or similar workflow management tools is preferable
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MFG pro, BPCS, PRMS) is preferable
