Job Description

The L&P Systems & Data Analyst reports directly to the Head of Global Learning & Performance. This role is responsible for the daily management of our learning systems.

As a System Administrator, you are integral in ensuring our learning systems operate flawlessly, creating system guides, training colleagues, leveraging data to make informed decisions and organising events to enhance our colleagues' growth.

As Informa is a truly international business, you will be part of a larger Global Learning team that supports key stakeholders situated in various locations. Effective communication, impactful speech, a curious nature, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to generate insightful reports are therefore essential for the success of this role. While this role is based in the UK, there may be a need for international travels to deliver and support principal initiatives.

Working as part of our larger Informa Markets Learning team (IM Learning), the role will necessitate the ability to engage in hands-on administration, training creation and delivery, coordination, and data analysis to ensure we provide actionable insights aligned to the broader IM Learning strategy.

This varied role would especially befit candidates who would welcome the chance to apply their established Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Power BI skills and thrive in the challenge of creating actionable insights that they can take pride in.

Systems Administration (40%)

  • You might supervise daily operations and maintenance of our Learning and Performance Systems.
  • You might add new users into the system.
  • You might manage requests for revisions and additions from the business.
  • You might send out programme progress emails or reminder emails.
  • You might review and update curriculums, courses or sessions.
  • You might remind colleagues to complete learning evaluations.

Reporting & Insights (approximately 40%)

  • You might update, find better ways, and generate reports that input into PowerBI.
  • You might gather, analyse, and interpret data from the learning systems to identify trends, gaps, and chances for improvement.
  • You might develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into learning program effectiveness.
  • You might make data-driven suggestions for optimising learning experiences.
  • You might produce reports for the Learning Partners to consult within their business groups.

Coordination (10%)

  • You might plan and support learning and development events, workshops, and seminars.
  • You might coordinate logistics, including scheduling, venues, materials, and speakers.
  • You might evaluate the success of events and make improvements based on feedback.
  • You might review and update our current systems learning content and materials.

Delivery (10%)

  • You might provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and offer advice.
  • You might deliver training or support our colleague’s onboarding or early careers process.
