In your role, you'll work closely with our public sector clients, developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities. By maintaining a solid client portfolio and building long-lasting relationships, you'll track the progress of various projects, and aim to provide excellent service and add value to our clients.
What skills and qualifications will you bring to the team?
- Development and maintenance of software applications in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Training custom machine learning / deep learning models based on both structured and unstructured data
- Selection of features, and the building and optimization of classifiers using machine learning methods
- Interaction with data stewards and other IT stakeholders to outline data parameters
- Establishing data protocols and executing actions to ensure data quality and integrity
- Creating automatic anomaly detection systems and consistently tracking performance
- Data mining, processing, cleaning, and verification of data for analysis
- Contributing to the analysis of data management strategy, policy, and the subsequent IT requirements
- Contributing to the design of IT architecture based on master and metadata management concepts
- Development of test programs
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance with system deployment and configuration
- Participation in meetings with contracting authorities, project teams, and user groups
Requirements
To succeed in the role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree in data-driven computational linguistics, machine learning, data mining, or statistical data modeling
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the ICT field
- Strong knowledge of related Mathematics and Statistics subjects, including linear algebra, calculus, probability theory, statistics, optimization techniques, etc.
- Python and R programming skills
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Keras
- Experience working with different machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
- Knowledge of deep learning and neural networks
- Experience with data preprocessing and analysis techniques
- RDBMS experience, preferably Oracle (latest version)
- Familiarity with model evaluation and validation techniques
- Experience with deploying ML models to production
- Understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra
- Knowledge of NLP techniques and libraries like NLTK, spaCy, or Transformers
- Knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, and transformers
- Awareness of ethical considerations in AI/ML, potential bias, and fairness issues in AI systems
- Knowledge of GDPR and compliance with AI/ML applications
- Experience using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable AI/ML solutions
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken), French would be advantageous
