Business Intelligence Analyst

The main goal of the Business Intelligence Unit is to ensure that all ClearSource departments receive crucial data and analysis, using BI tools, to guide informed business decisions and improve performance. This includes managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing timely reports, analytics, and business insights including but not limited to dashboards and scorecards. When these goals are achieved, ClearSource gains a competitive edge in the BPO industry as clients view us as valuable partners in advancing and expanding their business through actionable strategic and tactical insights.

• Guarantee the accuracy and integrity of data through comprehensive policies and procedures.

o Examine, interpret, and report the results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, and operations teams.

o Dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.

• Compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Establish and maintain communication, and provide support with expertise to Operations and/or team members; understand needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations.
• Implement strict quality control to avoid report duplication according to department standards in building, developing, and maintaining data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.

o Evaluate reports and where possible enhance the efficiency of the report templates and processes.

o Predict future demands of initiatives related to the business and design/implement solutions to meet these needs. Respond timely and accurately to emails.

• Boost agent efficiency and productivity through the Freshdesk ticketing tool.

o Handle tickets and ensure to meet the agreed upon SLA.

o Ensure that no tickets are overdue.

o Every ticket should be resolved.

• Upload raw data for the Business Intelligence tool promptly.
• Develop reports through QuickSight Business Intelligence tool.

o Use warehouse data to produce reports to guide business decision-making and business performance monitoring.

o Maintain data analytics platforms.

o Perform troubleshooting on BI models.

o Carry out quality assurance checks on reports.

o Generate and deliver quality reports to internal and external customers.

• Upskill or acquire new and relevant skills.

o Digital upskilling – New Software, Digital marketing, and programming skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics or Mathematics
• New graduates with relevant experience in Business Intelligence during their internship

• Proficient in using BI and data visualization tools such as AWS QuickSight, PowerBI, Tableau and Domo
• Understands Data Modeling and Data Schemas
• Understands database operations and optimization such as MS SQL server, PostgreSQL and OracleDB)
• Capable of effectively curating data for analysis and insights
• Has strong analytical skills to perform descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics
• Able to translate data and analysis into actionable insights and measurable results to drive company performance
• Able to draft clear and structured process documents
