About the Role

The Coinbase Customer Experience (CX) organization is vital to our mission. Our team eliminates customer challenges, empowers global users through self-service and automation, and optimizes customer support for an effortless experience. As a Data Analyst, you'll drive business impact through data, transforming it into actionable insights that shape our strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve customer experience metrics, self-service tools, and analyses that drive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a balanced strategic and tactical analytic roadmap.
• Identify areas for improvement through deep dive investigations and process enhancements.
• Build and drive the adoption of self-service analytic capabilities at scale.
• Understand and optimally utilize data resources for each project.
• Break down complex business problems into key components and recommend practical solutions.
• Monitor key performance metrics and leverage data to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes efficient execution, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Support and develop analytical technologies for timely, flexible, and structured data access.

Qualifications

You should have:

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills; Python experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, QuickSight, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to secure inputs from cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinking, with the ability to devise and execute analytical solutions for business needs.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience with report automation (e.g. using Python, R).
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing.
• Experience with descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Understanding of financial industry regulations.
• Experience with customer support metrics and data.
